Janet Elkins, President of EventWorks, is a leader in the events industry with nearly three decades of special event experience. Her commitment to excellence is unparalleled and she heads a diverse staff of talented, hard-working individuals who have been brought together to create award-winning and memorable events. Janet currently serves on the advisory board for SEARCH and has chaired The Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE) Crystal Award Banquet. She also actively participates in SITE, Meeting Planners International (MPI), and the International Association of Corporate Producers. Her distinctions include SITE’s prestigious Crystal Award, numerous Gala Awards and nominations from Special Events Magazine, and MPI Supplier of the Year.

In 2008, Janet received the distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award from The Special Event. Janet has shared her vast industry knowledge and experience with audiences all over the world, and has served as an instructor for various seminars and educational courses conducted at MPI locations and universities.
