AAA Club Partners Shark Pool

Synopsis:
To kick off their series of meetings, this company selected Shark Pool to get the team warmed up for product development discussions. They completed team teasers to earn Shark Bait and then spent the next 40 minutes developing product ideas for their clients. Presentations were made in front of our Sharks who determined which product was worth the endorsement.

Teambuilding for Abbvie

Location: Elawa Farms

Client: Meetings and Incentives Worldwide

Synopsis:
Food Truck Frenzy was a great event for this pharma company meeting. It allowed them to showcase some of the produce from the farm where the meeting was being held. Each team was given a category for their food truck and created a menu and signature dish which they presented to judges. Along with delicious food, they created deeper relationships and lasting memories.

GT Law Shark Pool

Synopsis:
GT Law held a meeting in Chicago for their associates from offices across the US. They wanted something fun and interactive to get attendees working together and to get to know each other better. Enter CEI and Shark Pool! Teams built new and innovative creations to make their work life more productive - all from common everyday items!

Sassy Salsa Showdown!

Location: Independence Grove

Client: Chicago Travel Consultants

Synopsis:
85 administrative professionals got to know each other for the first time through a friendly competition to craft the best tasting salsa and guacamole. We provided the ingredients, and the challenges involved in order to obtain those ingredients - and the rest they made, along with a 60-second pitch about why *theirs* is the best!

Creative Cocktails

Location: Hilton Indian Lakes Resort

Client: Just for Fun Productions

Synopsis:
150 guests divided into 15 teams to create cocktail representations of their products. Guests earned vouchers through challenges; and 3 judges selected an overall winning group along with recognition for the best presentation and best representation.

Robotic Engineering for HS2 Solutions

Location: Arrowhead Golf Club

Client: HS2 Solutions

Synopsis:
As part of their All Hands Meeting, HS2 Solutions wanted to incorporate some teambuilding. Robotic Engineering fit the bill, easily tying into their theme of Building and Leadership. Teams completed challenges like 'Slow Joust', 'Streamer Screamer' and 'Wobble Cup' to earn all of the parts to build and race their robots. Prizes were awarded for Most Creative Bot, Fastest Bot and Best Team Spirit.

Sassy Salsa Showdown

Location: Palmer House Hilton

Synopsis:
As an interactive activity during dinner, we provided our Sassy Salsa Showdown. In rounds, teams gathered to prepare unique salsas and presentations to wow and amaze our judges. It was muy caliente!

Tower of Power/ Building to the Future

Synopsis:
For a fun activity during a series of meetings, this pharma company wanted something that would give back. There were four rounds of teams who built models of The Willis Tower out of Legos. The catch was to build by only looking at a model, but without instructions. All of the Lego sets were donated to a local charity at the end of the night.

A fun teambuilding event for Tishman Speyer's summer outing. Guests built customized Putt Putt courses, participated in challenges and played the course.

Sassy Salsa Showdown

Location: Gleacher Center

Synopsis:
This small group was looking for a fun teambuilding activity after a day of meetings, and before dinner. They decided on the Sassy Salsa Showdown, and incorporated Margarita making as well! CEI provided fun team and individual challenges for teams to earn ingredients, and iPads with cooking apps for recipe inspiration. Built in appetizers and drinks before dinner!

BP's new enterprise wide values were introduced to employees through a customized version of our BOT Build program. Teams worked together to build, decorate and race remote controlled rovers while applying and focusing on BP values.

Catapult Building

Location: Marriott Lincolnshire Resort

Client: The Meetinghouse Companies, Inc.

Synopsis:
Twenty five management personal from this major shipping products company kicked off their meeting with our Catapults! team experience. Teams assembled and tested fully functional catapults and designed their team shield. Following the presenting of their colors (team shields) teams competed in fun competition catapulting mini Velcro balls at a standing target.

Synopsis:
For a fun twist to their annual Holiday Lunch, members of Chicago Tribune's Manufacturing and Distribution department got together to build. They built towers out of magnetic balls and sticks, and competed to see which team could get the tallest tower. For the second half of the event, they worked together to build a tunnel system and get a ping pong ball from one tower to the cylinder across the room.

Team Fusion

Location: The Drake Hotel

Synopsis:
As a fun teambuilding event during a week of meetings, CEI created 'Team Fusion'. Each team was given a block of ice, some smaller geometric shaped cubes of ice, and a box of props. Teams created ice sculptures and a 'commercial' for their creation.

T-Systems International Culinary Cook-off

Location: Hotel Allegro

Client: T-Systems

Synopsis:
Each team started with the same international recipes and ingredients and then used their imaginations to put their spin of the final product. Teams were judged by certified chefs based on taste, presentation and team spirit.

Putt Putt Engineering

Location: The Stonegate

Client: Siemens Corporation

Synopsis:
As a break during two days of meetings, the sales team from Siemens took a break to build their own miniature golf course. About 144 people built up twelve holes, and earned accessories by completing trivia and other team challenges as well as an opportunity to do some karaoke.

Drag Strip Challenge

Location: Orange County Convention Center

Synopsis:
For the second year in a row CEI helped produce a 500+ person team experience where participants designed, created and raced miniature race cars in a team competition. CEI provided a portion of the staff, the decor and transportation of the supplies from Chicago to Orlando.

Putt Putt Engineering

Synopsis:
After a day of learning and meetings, this group of 60 got together for some food and fun as they built their ideal miniature golf course, using materials provided by CEI as well as materials Actuant creates every day. After building, teams took to the course to see which holes stood up to the test. Awards were provided for most creative, best use of materials and team spirit.

Robotic Engineering

Location: Museum of Science and Industry

Synopsis:
Twenty-one teams of eager product engineers arrived at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry in the inaugural Robotic Engineering : Adventure Hunt and Amazing Challenge team event. Innovation and Technology was the theme as teams solved riddle and puzzle clues that led them to various exhibits at the Museum to answer clues. For each clue solved correctly teams received a package of "robot parts" to build and race the most innovative robot possible!

Teem Golf

Location: The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center

Synopsis:
Teams gathered for a night of networking and miniature golf after being in meetings all day. Each team constructed their own mini-putting green, then got the opportunity to play on their newly-built course!

Dragstrip Challenge

Location: George R. Brown Convention Center

Client: Corporate Learning Institute

Synopsis:
The CEI team assisted with producing this out of town event, including creation of team supplies, making flight arrangements for Chicago staff, hiring local staff in Houston, hands on assistance during set up, event and strike. Teams built, decorated and raced cars, which were judged on creativity, cost-effectiveness and speed.

Synopsis:
A small group divided into 9 teams and each created a their own unique miniature golf hole. Decor items were purchased with vouchers won at a trivia station. To top off the event, the teams played a 9-hole round of golf on their new course!

Derby Daze

Location: Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel and CC

Client: AMC Mortgages

Synopsis:
Teams raced into action as they designed, built, promoted and raced their adult driven derby cars in an energetic competition between 24 teams of AMC Mortgages call center professionals. Theses decorated racers were propelled by "teammate power" in the heats. The energy level was at a crescendo when the last race pitted the three fastest cars in a challenge of champions!

Synopsis:
Teams started off with trivia and won extra spending money to purchase parts for their cars. Cars were built, raced and judged for speed and creativity.

Synopsis:
Teams built creative cars using household items in unusual ways. The cars were raced against each other on the tabletop track in the center of the room. Cars were judged based on speed of the race as well as creativity.

Building To The Future

Synopsis:
The stars of this summer outing were the employees of Equity Office Management LLC. as they performed a talent show that made for great laughs and a few standing ovations. CEI helped produce this show and took care of the logistics, emcee, background music and some props.

Synopsis:
The display room for Chicago Party Rental had a different display during this event. Their sales team displayed their creativity and teambuilding skills by turning the room into a miniature golf course, with each team designing a hole. After the course was created, the teams played through.

Semi Annual Networking Event

Location: Catalyst Ranch

Synopsis:
For this professional organization's semi-annual networking event, CEI challenged area meeting and event planners to think to the future to build the ideal meeting venue for MPI's 100th anniversary celebration in 2072. Construction Foremen (CEI staff) helped facilitate the building of miniature towers, structures, parks and hotels as MPI members had a chance, in a comfortable setting, to create and build bonds with other members that would last well into the future.

Synopsis:
A conference reception with a goal of having attendees visit over one dozen exhibit booths was wildly successful when CEI provided building stations, complete with Lego's and other materials, in the vicinity of each exhibitor. Curious about the materials, and encouraged to start building with them, attendees flocked to the exhibit areas to build and network with potential suppliers.

Synopsis:
To get their team revved up for their sales meeting, Pepsico hired CEI to produce an exciting team event with a focus on adaptability and creativity. CEI challenged the group to assemble their own race cars out of aluminum cans, rolls of toilet paper, foam cups and other unusual items then compete at the "race track" to determine the fastest and most creative prototype.

Teams of sales professionals tested their engineering skills and creativity in a high-energy mini-race car building and racing challenge - The Racers Edge. The racers were made out of various household items and decorating supplies including aluminum cans, toilet paper rolls, foam coolies and much more!

Building To The Future: An Image of Chicago Using USG Products

Location: Oak Brook Hills Resort

Client: USG Corporation

Synopsis:
USG Financial Services staff had an opportunity to truly be "hands on" with their gypsum products as they were tasked to build an image or icon of Chicago using wallboard, ceiling tiles and patching compound. With the addition of some decorating accents (such as markers, construction paper, Styrofoam cones, etc.) teams built amazingly realistic models of Wrigley Field, The Sears Tower, O'Hare Airport and many other Chicago landmarks.

Synopsis:
Over 400 people were divided into 20 groups to create the ultimate construction crews, empowered to design and build their own city out of ordinary household supplies including aluminum foil, cardboard boxes and felt. At the completion of the activity cities were judged by all participants based on appearance, height of buildings, functionality, etc.

CEI took its Racer's Edge show on the road to St Louis MO, complete with staff, decor and equipment. The famous arch is the Gateway to the West, participants found the Racer's Edge to be the gateway to great interactive fun.
