JVM Holiday Party

Synopsis:
This realty company kicked off their Holiday Party by giving back. Guests were teamed up and worked together to assemble wagons, build xylophones, stuff animals and create jewelry to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charity. After the building was done, they shared a meal and got a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus who helped hand out year-end bonuses and chocolate treats!

Astellas Philanthropic Event in Las Vegas

Synopsis:
1200 Pharmaceutical volunteers came together to give back to the Las Vegas community. CEI secured four local charities to benefit from the event. Volunteers built bikes, furniture and toy chests - assembled care packages, backpacks and murals to create 2000 gifts for the charities.

Bike Building for United Cargo

Synopsis:
To fit our client's meeting schedule, we ran 4 60-minute bike building sessions. Each session had 60-80 attendees building 8 bikes. Teams completed challenges for accessories and developed presentations. After all groups were finished, they met for a cocktail hour and were able to present their bikes to the children receiving them!

Synopsis:
During their holiday lunch, RTA employees assembled youth comfort care kits to be donated to the Red Cross. Participants also competed in a variety of challenges in order to earn toys to add to the care kits.

Optima RX Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
As way to give back to the local community, 30 teams from OptumRX assembled and accessorized bicycles for children from the Boys and Girls Club of Elgin, IL. As a special surprise for both the participants and the children, members of the Boys and Girls Club were brought to receive the new bicycles at the conclusion of the event.

Bike Building Workshop at Grand Geneva

As way to give back to the local community, 30 teams from a national consulting company assembled and accessorized bicycles for children from the Boys and Girls Club As a special surprise for both the participants and the children, members of the Boys and Girls Club were brought to receive the new bicycles at the conclusion of the event.

This pharma company setup a USO event at the start of their day, for teams to both get to know each other through our military-themed team building exercises and also donate care package items for our troops overseas. It was a great way to start the day!

HBR Bike Building Workshop

During their three-day meeting, this consulting firm wanted to do something that gave back to the community. Bike building was the way to go! Local school kids got bikes, and were even able to make it to the event and accept the bikes in person!

USO Care Packages

Synopsis:
24 teams packed snacks, toiletries, sports equipment and other items into boxes. This combined with hearing from a current military service member along with writing personal notes to troops made this a meaningful team building experience.

This robust, 19-team two-part event featured an urban scavenger hunt including puzzle clues and site challenges, along with a competitive shopping challenge for three charities.

As part of their first ever full employee meeting, this beer distributor wanted to give back to the community and CEI was tapped to produce the USO Care Packages event. 48 teams completed challenges to earn items for care packages that were sent to military men and women overseas.

Back2School

Synopsis:
10 teams went to PE, US History and Music class (among others) in this friendly competition to get on the Back2School Honor Roll. School supplies were collected for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs in local schools.

Cars.com Bike Building

Location: Windy City Fiedlhouse

Synopsis:
As a special outing for their end of year meetings, this website department opted to put money towards building bikes for children instead of having a fancy holiday dinner. Teams competed in fun challenges including mini trike races to earn parts for their bikes and created a presentation for their bike. At the end of the program, the bike recipients came to accept the bikes and say thank you.

Bright Horizons

Synopsis:
Attendees worked together in pairs to paint pre-drawn canvases that came together as a large mural. The large murals were donated to Supplies For Dreams, a local Chicago charity and hung in Bernhard Moos Elementary School.

One Team: USO Care Packages for Catamaran

Synopsis:
300 Catamaran associates were actively engaged in creating and sending a little piece of home to our troops overseas. Teams ventured to different challenge locations throughout the atrium of the Westin Chicago Northwest completing fun challenges and receiving vouchers for care package items. Once each location was visited, teams then wrapped and boxed the items, also including personal handwritten notes to the troops that would receive each package.

Back2School - Packing Backpacks for Donation

Synopsis:
This pharma company was having a series of meetings for some of the sales team, and wanted to do a charitable tie-in for a team building activity. One Team was selected due in large part to the number of former military that work for their company. Teams completed challenges and earned vouchers to exchange at the P/X for goodies to go in their care packages. The evening was capped off with a touching presentation by an active Marine and a representative of the USO.

Synopsis:
For a group from MillerCoors we teamed up with Experient to produce a One Team: USO Care Packages team experience for 120+ human resource professionals. Challenges included Ammunition Transfer, Catapults!, and KP Duty as well as many more as teams worked hard to collect and pack items to be donated to our troops abroad.

Mead Johnson Global Marketing Systems Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
As a fun way to end a day of meetings, and allow them to tie in with their corporate structure, Mead Johnson tapped Corporate Event Interactive for a Bike Building Workshop. This small group divided into three teams, completed challenges and built bikes for children from Chicago Youth Centers.

Holiday Event

Synopsis:
For the second year in a row B&B Productions hired CEI to help produce a year end Toy Building Workshop for this major fuel distribution company. Teams assembled tricycles, red wagons, stuffed animals and jewelry during the event and donated all the items to the Union League Boys and Girls Club.

Team Woodshop

Location: Hyatt Regency - Long Island

Synopsis:
Access DMC's client - a national accounting firm - wanted to include some teambuilding during their three-day meeting. They were very interested in doing something that gave back to the community, and CEI arranged that for them. Teams built a variety of furniture - everything from bookshelves and computer desks to picnic tables - that were donated to a charity.

Aon Bike Building

Location: Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

Synopsis:
After a day of training and meetings, Aon executives wanted to have fun and do something that benefits the community. The Corporate Event Interactive team suggested a Bike Building Workshop, and donating the bikes to the Union League Boys and Girls Club. Three teams of people rolled up their sleeves, built and accessorized bikes, and created an inspirational card for the children who will receive the bikes.

Rexnord GLM Boot Camp

Location: Navy Pier - Lakeview Terrace

Synopsis:
Working in concert with regionally based event company that was responsible for the larger structure of the weekend, CEI produced a surprise charitable program with a military theme for over 200 people. The end client was a large international manufacturing firm who arrived in buses from a day of meetings. CEI emcees led them through muster and inspection, divided them into teams and explained the evening's activities. A series of team challenges, both physical and mental, followed. To close the evening, emcees revealed the charitable nature of the event: the supplies being earned through participation were the components of care packages for soldiers serving overseas. USO representatives were on site to receive the packages and thank the group for their efforts. Accompanying the packages was a book of well wishes assembled be CEI staff using program participants.

One Team for Charity - Boys and Girls Club

Synopsis:
This international group was meeting for a few days in Chicago, and wanted to make an impact on the community. For a fun teambuilding event with a charity tie-in, they called on CEI to help. Teams participated in challenges like 'Ahoy Matey Translation' and Connecting Channels to earn coupons. Then they shopped at our store for items to fill a care package that was donated to the Union League Boys and Girls Club.

USO Birthday Bash

Location: Old Superior Ambulance Building

Synopsis:
To celebrate the 70th birthday of the USO, CEI brought in some team challenges and got troops working together to build care packages that were sent to military personnel overseas. Some of the boxes also went to families in Japan, who had just suffered a tremendous earthquake.

Experient Annual 'Unwrap' Party

Location: Experient Office - 120 S. Riverside Drive

Synopsis:
As a tie in to The Holiday Showcase, Experient invites their clients to their Annual Unwrap Party at their office. Attendees are encouraged to bring items to donate to a local charity (Lydia House). As an added twist this year, they invited CEI to provide toy building stations so each guest could be 'elves' and build toys to donate. CEI was happy to oblige, and provided animals to stuff, jewelry to string, coloring books to decorate. Xylophones, Radio Flyer Wagons, and custom Toy Boxes were built as well. The toy building provided a chance to network and learn about other CEI programs.

Momentum - Operation Toy Box

Location: San Francisco Airport Marriott

Synopsis:
CEI was tapped to bring in some philanthropic fun for this group who was in meetings all week. After dinner, they got a chance to build and decorate toy boxes. They also decorated and wrapped toys to put into each box. The next morning, the toys and boxes were brought to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Oakland, CA.

One Team - USO Care Packages

As a fun activity that gives back, the Governmental Affairs Division of this international pharmaceutical company wanted to put together care packages for members of the military who are currently serving overseas. CEI added a layer of team-building by challenging the teams to earn the care package items. Then we coordinated the shipping with the USO.

Toy Building Workshop

Synopsis:
As part of a thank you for all of their hard work, employees of BP were invited to a fun afternoon of building toys. Teams rolled up their sleeves as they put together tricycles, toy kitchen sets, toy boxes, stuffed animals, drums and xylophones. All toys were then donated to the Union League's Boys and Girls Clubs.

Siemens Operation Toy Box

Synopsis:
As a kickoff event for their series of meetings, leader in the electronics and electrical engineering industry wanted their attendees to collaborate on something that gives back to the community. With the help of CEI, people teamed up to build and design custom toy boxes. All attendees were encouraged to bring a toy to donate, and decorated wrapping paper for that as well. All toys and boxes were donated to Chicago Youth Centers.

Build A Buddy Workshop

Synopsis:
CEI produced a heart-warming and engaging team event for new hires at a large consulting firm. Teams completed challenges to earn supplies needed to build a Buddy Team. In addition, teams took photos and created a story around the team. The team's presentation determined the winners who won the opportunity to present all the Buddy Teams to a local charity.

Accenture's Corporate Citizenship Challenge

Synopsis:
Keeping with the tradition of giving back to the community, Accenture teamed up with CEI to develop a custom hunt for 200 Interns and Faculty around the Q Center complex. Teams solved riddle and puzzle clues to guide them to various locations where they completed team challenges to earn food items. At the end of the hunt, points we tallied and winning teams won novelty prizes - while the Greater Chicago Food Depository won over 300 non-perishable food items.

Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
Working in teams, meeting participants built and accessorized youth bicycles to donate to a local Boys & Girls Club in Chicago. In addition to building bikes, teams were judged on quality, accessories and performance on the slalom course. Teams were surprised at the end of the event, when the children arrived to accept their new wheels!

Holiday Party/Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
Over 600 pharmaceutical professionals joined together at their holiday party to build bicycles for children from the Chicago Youth Centers. Teams solved trivia questions to earn tools, team teasers to earn bike accessories and networked with other teams to complete puzzles to earn a backpack full of bike extras to give to the children with their newly built bikes. Teams also had the opportunity to create a giant greeting card for the children. To top off this interactive experience, children from the Chicago Youth Centers arrived at the event to receive their bikes and meet the teams of pharmaceutical professionals who helped make it all happen!

AT Kearney Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
As a fun and philanthropic way to end a day of meetings, AT Kearney wanted to show their new employees what it's like to give back. The group built four bikes and completed challenges to earn accessories for their bikes. Each team created a slogan/ marketing idea for their bike and presented it to the group. The bikes were donated to Off The Street Club for use at their summer camp.

Notre Dame Investments Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
To give back to the community, this investments firm decided to take part in a Bike Building Workshop. Through Horizons for Youth a deserving family with 4 children benefited from the event.

Corporate Citizenship Challenge - Presented by Goodwill Hunters

Location: The Q Center

Synopsis:
To wrap up their student leadership program, Accenture called upon CEI to present our Goodwill Hunters Adventure Hunt at the Q Center. Teams solved riddles to find challenge locations. Upon successful completion of a challenge, they were awarded food products that were donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Project Toy Box

Synopsis:
As a community service and teambuilding project during their week-long meeting, EMD Serono teams built custom toy boxes, decorated them with a variety of items and filled them with fun toys to be donated to the Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation and Sunrise Children's Hospital. It was a heartwarming experience topped off by the surprise appearance of some of the children who were recipients of the boxes.

Corporate Event Interactive co-produced this event where over 100 participants from a technology products and services firm celebrated year end by building and assembling small Radio Flyer wagons, coloring books, stuffed animals and toy drums for The Boys & Girls Club of Lake County.

Corporate Event Interactive co-produced this event where over 550 participants from all levels of a large pharmaceutical company kicked off the holidays by building and assembling Radio Flyer wagons, scooters and tricycles and stuffing and dressing over 250 plush animals for The Boys & Girls Club of Lake County.

This group was in town for meetings and fun. As part of a fun afternoon, they built teams and bikes. The teams took part in challenges to win bike accessories. At the end, some of the bicycle recipients came to personally thank them for their new wheels.

After a day of intense meetings, this international group enjoyed a break outdoors to build bikes for children and camaraderie amongst each other. In addition, the teams had the opportunity to unwind, participate in fun challenges and give back to the community.

Team Woodshop

Synopsis:
A team of over 80 accounting professionals convened after dinner to build furniture for the Union League Boys & Girls Club of Chicago. Hammers were swinging and teams were interacting as picnic benches, desks, chairs, workbenches, television stands and dressers were assembled. Over 50 pieces of furniture were completed by participants in less than 90 minutes. An overview from the Boys & Girls Clubs and a client led debrief completed the activity.

Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
Produced a Bike Building experience for 20 participants to kick-off a meeting for a national team gathered at their new corporate offices. In addition to building two bikes each, teams earned additional bike accessories by completing team challenges such as Connecting Channels, Geometric Jumbles and Team Overboard. As a unique twist the second bike was built with one teammate blindfolded throughout. The event was topped off as eight children from the Boys & Girls Club of Lake County arrived to receive their bikes and adoration from all participants!

Feel the Power Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
To bring two sales teams together during their national conference, CEI produced a Bike Building Workshop for 300 pharma reps. This event required a combination of innovative strategy, skilled (and accurate) craftsmanship and team work! At the end of it all, teams had assembled 30 bikes for local charities.

Corporate Toy Building Olympiad

Location: Sofitel

Synopsis:
In order to get guests visiting various trade show booths, CTC enlisted our help to have toys at each location to be built. The theme was Olympics, so guests got to stuff and dress sports animals, design their own basketball, soccer balls and discus. Approximately 300 toys were built and given to the Union League Boys and Girls Club.

The Power of Q The Power of You Bike Building Workshop

Location: Grand Geneva Resort

Synopsis:
During a series of meetings, this group took a break to take part in a fun teambuilding charitable event. Teams gathered together to build bikes and create a team identity. They had opportunities to participate in challenges to win vouchers to "purchase" accessories for their bicycles. Once their bike was approved, each team raced in the slalom course relay, until a champion was named. After the program, the bikes were donated to a Chicago-based charity dedicated to teaching children bicycle safety.

Produced an interactive Bike Building Workshop for 300 participants for this pharmaceutical giant including a team spirit competition, trivia and geometric jumbles challenges and a slalom course relay at the end to "test the bikes." But the highlight of the program was certainly when 50 children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa arrive at the event as a surprise to receive their newly assembled bikes and thank the participants for their efforts!

Santa's Workshop

Synopsis:
A major pharmaceutical company decided to replace their annual evening dinner/dancing holiday event with an afternoon where they could give back to the community by building toys for The Boys and Girls Club of Lake County. In addition to securing the charity, CEI provided elves and helped produce a 500 person toy building workshop complete with Radio Flyer wagons, Xylophones, coloring books, stuffed animals and wooden toys to assemble and decorate.

Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
After a few days of meetings, this division of Otsuka came together to build teams and bikes before dinner. The group ranged from Administrative Assistants to MDs and Psychiatrists. This small group presented 8 bikes to the local Boys and Girls club. Four members of the Boys and Girls club arrived with their director to accept the bikes, talk about what the Boys and Girls Club means to them, and help us judge team spirit, and innovation.

Bike Building Workshop

Synopsis:
This association gathers twice a year to meet, learn about new practices and supplies. Each time, they have a fun teambuilding program to give them an opportunity to connect and meet others. This year, they chose to give back to the community by building and decorating bikes for the Union League Boys and Girls Club. ULBGC was able to coordinate with CEI to have representatives on site to accept the bikes at the end of the program.

PayCycle Bike Building Event

Synopsis:
For their annual team building event, PayCycle chose to give back to the community. The teams built 6 quality bikes, showcased their product in a presentation and presented the bikes to 6 lucky kids from the Union League Boys & Girls Club.

Santa's Workshop

Synopsis:
To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Scholastic Book Fairs called upon CEI to help drive home the theme "Blizzard of Books" with a teambuilding project at the end of three days of meetings. We re-created the North Pole, and the Scholastic team got to be elves for a day! The result was a true team-building experience with over 100 toys getting built for the charity of their choosing. The charity - Ronald McDonald House Charities - sent representatives to collect the toys and share the RMHC vision and where the toys would wind up.

Creative teams worked together to build bicycles, competed in a trivia contest to collect bike accessories and developed a bike name and cheer. When the bikes were complete, children from a local youth charity were brought in to receive their new toys.

A dozen teams built bicycles for a local Chicago charity, competed in Chicago trivia to collect vouchers for bike accessories, created a marketing "pitch" to present their bikes before a panel of judges, developed a team name and cheer, and raced completed bikes on slalom course.

Toy Building Workshop

Synopsis:
Over 400 top pharmaceutical managers rolled up their sleeves at their opening reception to build toys for the Union League Boys & Girls Clubs. In less than 2 hours over 300 toys, including Radio Flyer wagons, plush bears and xylophones were built culminating with a presentation of the toys to the charity.
