Monster Fundraising Power Pull
The Monster Fundraising Power Pull starts with teams paying an entrance fee to compete. Prior to the event, teams collect pledges based on how far they believe they can pull the truck on the day of the event. Team swag such as muscle shirts, logo printed toy trucks, or trucker caps can be offered depending on the level of the entrance fee, or amount of pledges each team secures.
On the event day the selected parking (or paved) lot is setup with orange cones, pom-poms and a finish line. Each team has one chance to pull their truck a predetermined distance. The distance will be based on the weight of the vehicle and the number of participants on each team. If two vehicles are available, two parallel tracks will be setup. If the group is competitive, a "championship" pull will be scheduled.
At the end of the pull a representative of the chosen cause will say a few words on how the day's "strong" effort truly benefited their organization!
